|At 60 series entries received so far and 25 for the trackday it’s looking good for season 7. I haven’t sent out any conformations as of yet but it’s safe to say if you have entered that your entry will be accepted as all entries received to date look pretty run of the mill.|
I’d like to low key announce that Stuart Fox of “Wairau Brake Services” will be acting as an independent person to the series for season 7 with the sole purpose of making sure the top 10 are playing fair, from 11th onwards will be left to the tech committee.

Only in the extreme case where we have an excessive waiting list will we introduce additional grids. Planning like this has enabled us to offer the best pricing possible.21st September Test DayAt Hampton Downs we will be having a private trackday for 2KCUP’ers and friends of 2KCUP’ers. We have hired the track for the afternoon (4 hours) on the 21st of September.
We will be running an open pit lane as this allows for longer stints and the ability to keep making minor changes to tyre pressures etc to see the difference. It also means you will get more track time than a regular full trackday.
We will be testing the radios from Motorsport Communications as well as testing Virtual Safety Car procedures in the first hour. Register your interest at https://forms.gle/MBZtwRzT3qx7WdJFA and I will send you an invoice next week. Cost is $175 incl GST. Numbers are limited to 60 to start with.
There are no points for the day but anyone new to the series or driving a new vehicle is expected to attend so there isn’t any surprises at round 1.
Prosport Auto is now offering a Front and Rear combo pricing deal for 2KCup competitors. When a set of front pads are purchased, rear pads can be purchased at an extended discount rate. This will save $45 per combo purchased. Available from the 1st of JULY, 2019.
Old Example Pricing:
Front or Rear Pads are $400 inc GST, plus freight.
Front and Rear Pads, $800 inc GST, plus freight.
New Example Pricing:
Fronts Pads only – $400 inc GST, plus freight.
Front and Rear Pad combo – $755 inc GST, plus freight.
Prosport Auto has seen time and time again the gains in using a good and well balanced rear pad. While the ENDLESS pricing is initially high, the value is second to none when it comes to $/km and they produce excellent lap times and consistency. The last four seasons Series Champions were all using ENDLESS brake pads.
Please get in touch with Mike on email@example.com or 0211747427. The new pricing will be available via email/phone.
